You know those black patent espadrille wedges that Kate Middleton loves so much she was seen in them immediately before and after her wedding?

They’re by Brit label L.K. Bennett and the shoes are the latest in a string of items made golden by the Duchess of Cambridge. First it was that blue Issa dress she wore to her official engagement announcement, then it was the white ruffle Reiss dress she wore in her official engagement portraits shot by Mario Testino. And of course, her Sarah Burton for McQueen wedding dress has already spawned countless knockoffs.

Middleton’s stand-by L.K. Bennett Greta wedges (£150) are now being reissued and appropriately renamed ‘The Kate.’ According to the Daily Mail, the shoes already have a wait list. Maybe Chelsy Davy, who was spotted trying on a similar pair last week, has already got her name down.

Love these Wedges as much as I’m loving the new Royal Couple!

She is very beautiful, but hardly a style star. Her fashion style is kind of bland.

I should have you taken to the guillotine for such blasphemy – personally, I love wedges…be it shoes or potatoes, and i’d eat either one off the princess’ feet

I think Kate Middleton is beautiful.
She kinda looks like Briana Evigan from Step Up 2.
what do you think?

I think she’d make a fine model. LOL

I love love LOVE her. I adore her fashion sense and I feel vindicated because it’s so similar to my own – my mother has been annoyed by my “plain” fashion sense for years when the truth is I simply prefer to make the statement with the cut and texture of my clothing, not with a bold print. You can usually find me in solid colors. I’ve been scouring all the shoe stores in the area looking for some wedges similar to those. Hope we see cheaper knockoffs coming soon.

what a bunch of copycats. Wedges have been here forever. Some may get them because they are cute, but most are more likely getting them as if they wear them, they would get a prince…laugh and roll your eyes all you want, you know i’m right :) P
