Lady Gaga’s Face Is Transformed Into a Butterfly For the Cover of V Magazine
By Leah Chernikoff
Lady Gaga‘s V cover has hit the internet (thank you, Fashin). The mother monster, her face covered in sequins and feathers to look like a butterfly, was shot by Inez and Vinoodh for the cover of V‘s issue 71.
Gaga’s cover is timed to her inaugural monthly column for the mag. The issue is also being billed as the “Asia” issue (the Cut has a preview of some of the editorials featuring today’s top Asian models). Gaga is not Asian. Discuss.
The photog duo have also released a preview of an alternate Bollywood-inspired cover on their tumblr which features Gaga with a nose ring, her face another model (that’s not Gaga, right?) heavily appliqued with sequins and general bling.
