Pippa the Party Girl: Though we love us some Kate Middleton, it’s obvious that Pippa is the fun sister. The younger Middleton works as a party planner, and judging from a picture floating around the internet, she’s got plenty of partying experience under her belt. The image shows Pippa, wearing only a bra on top (her body looks ridic, natch), dancing with a shirtless boy. In the background, tables are filled with bottles of booze. {Huffington Post}

Knockoffs at Tiffany’s: Tiffany & Co. has a new collection of jewelry that resembles a thin twisted rope tied into a dainty bow. The company is usually the victim of counterfeit goods, but this time, it looks like Tiffany’s might be the culprit. The designs share a strikingly close resemblance to Brooklyn-based designer Kiel Mead’s collection of “Forget Me Not” accessories that he first produced in 2005. {UnBeige}

Fashion has always had a thing for cats (see: Grace Coddington, cat hats on Anna Sui’s fall runway, United Bamboo’s cat calendar, this amazing spread in Vogue Italia, etc.,). Also, I have a thing for cats (but not in a creepy way, ok?) so I pretty much haven’t been able to put real sentences together since I saw this mind-blowing promo video for this new product from Japanese company Neurowear, that came to my attention via The Daily Wh.at. Agyness Deyn, from model to…stripper?

Yep, Aggy has been cast as a stripper named Flo in the re-make of a 1996 film called Pusher. The story, which was originally set in Copenhagen, is about one week in the life of a drug dealer named Frank. Frank helps Flo leave the country. (We’ll have to see the movie to figure out why she wants out.)

The director, Luis Prieto, told Vogue UK that he didn’t know who Agyness was; he chose her based on her “impressive” audition.

OMG Kate Middleton is coming to the States!

Considering us Americans were far more obsessed with Kate Middleton and the royal wedding than Brits seemed to be (not that our obsession has waned), it’s only right that she come visit us. Clarence House announced today that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit California from July 8 through 10. It’s the first time Kate Middleton has ever visited the States, and the first time Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, will visit the US in an official capacity.

Can’t wait to see Kate Middleton’s California girl wardrobe.

Well that didn’t take long.

When it was announced that Carine Roitfeld was teaming up with Barneys to guest edit and style the luxury retailer’s fall ad campaign, catalogue, mailers and windows, the former Vogue Paris EIC hinted that she would return to magazines. “I am sure that one day I will, even if it’s not my own magazine, do special stories for magazines and maybe something on the Internet,” Roitfeld told WWD back in March. “I have projects and opportunities coming on.”

One of those projects?

In news that will probably surprise no one, Patrick Robinson is out at the Gap. Back in February, the Gap cleaned house at the management level, installing Pam Wallack as the executive director of the new Gap Global Creative Center. They also replaced their longtime creative agency, Laird+Partners. It was inevitable that more big changes would come, since Gap’s North American performance has been dismal and uninspired for several years.

“After spending the last three months in New York with the creative team, I’ve made the decision to make a change within our Gap Adult design team,” Wallack told WWD.

Yesterday Barneys had an intimate gathering for the ever-charming Fabrice Penot, one half of the founding team of the cult-favorite fragrance line Le Labo. Le Labo launched five years ago; both founders came from the Armani fragrance behemoth and both saw a need in the market for “fresh” perfumes. Fresh meaning they mix it up in front of you and put your name and an expiration date on it.

In the five years since its inception the line has been massively successful, and in addition to their freestanding stores and shops in Colette and Barneys, they are up for a Fifi award for the scent collaboration they did with Anthropologie.
