Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez can do no wrong in the eyes of the fashion world, and their accessories have become as coveted as their runway designs. The PS1 started off their accessory world domination, and their recent launch of small leather goods will undoubtedly be just as successful.
WWD caught up with the Proenza Schouler boys in the south of France while they were there judging the Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography. They’re currently working on a line of costume jewelry which is still in the prototype stage. Unlike jewelry they’ve done in the past (see the S/S 2011 runway look, left) this line won’t be seasonally focused and will have a more classic feel; they’ll update colors and materials. The line should drop during the upcoming pre-collection season.
No doubt it will be one more thing to covet from the already very covetable line.
