The first image from Hailee Steinfeld‘s fall 2011 ad campaign for Miu Miu just dropped and we’re in love. The 14-year-old was shot by Bruce Weber in some off-the-beaten-path part of Miami. Overall, the ad is refreshingly different from Miu Miu’s past campaigns, which are usually more dramatic and artistic and shot in a studio. Though, it isn’t the first time Miu Miu’s used a teenager–Lindsey Wixon was only 15 when she starred in the label’s spring 2010 campaign.
What’s especially great is how natural she looks here–makeup and photoshopping were minimal if there was any at all. Unlike a lot of campaigns and editorials starring teenagers, Hailee actually looks her age. She’s worn Miu Miu countless times over the past year and always manages to narrowly avoid looking like she’s dressing up in her mother’s clothes. This seems like a perfect match and we can’t wait to see more.
