Named one of “12 New Designers to Watch Around the Globe” by Women’s Wear Daily, Odilon is an LA-based women’s ready-to-wear line headed by designer Stacey Clark. As they embark on their third collection, the Odilon team seeks an assistant/office manager to aid their growth. This is an exciting position that allows the candidate to experience many aspects of the industry while having the opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company.
Responsibilities include: - Serving as the liaison to the PR, Sales, Accounting and Production teams - Hiring, training and managing new interns/employees - Handling accounts payable and receivable - Helping to create and manage the bi-yearly budget - Office maintenance and upkeep - Maintaining post-market buyer relationships - Pre-Market Prep: tagging, developing line sheets, etc. - Note taking - Scheduling appointments and maintaining the designer’s schedule
Candidate’s qualifications: - Extremely organized and detail oriented - Able to multitask in a fast paced environment - Excellent interpersonal skills; positive and professional attitude - Excellent time management and project skills with the ability to prioritize - Demonstrate initiative, creativity and resourcefulness in problem solving - Self-motivated and eager to take on responsibility - Highly developed written and verbal communication skills - Strong Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Skills are a must - Appropriate experience a plus
