These days, it feels like all the fashion girls want Monique Lhuillier to design their wedding gowns. And that all the starlets want Monique Lhuillier to design their red carpet dresses. Personally, we just want to buy something off the rack. The Los Angeles-based designer’s Resort 2012 collection seems to have something for everyone.

A mix of Lhuillier’s signature formal wear and dressy day wear, the capsule is comprised of a bold–yet at the same time nearly-washed out–palette of orange-y reds, soft pinks, painterly prints and cool blues. The looks were coded by color at yesterday’s presentation, and we were instantly drawn to the red lace blouse. Who doesn’t want to wear red lace for day, and in such a sweet way?
