Princess Beatrice took a lot of heat for the Philip Treacy hat she wore to the Royal Wedding. That hat spawned hilarious internet memes (some likening it to a toilet), was the inspiration for numerous Facebook pages (including one comparing it to a uterus), and ultimately raised over $130,000 for charity after Bea had the brilliant idea to put it up on eBay.
While Princess Beatrice seemed to take all the hat flack in stride, the Daily Mail is reporting that she has hired Emma Watson’s stylist Charlie Anderson because she was ” ‘mortified’ by criticism of her outfit at the Royal Wedding.” Anderson, the former fashion director at Tatler, reportedly charges £1,500 a day (that’s $2395), and according to the tab, other clients have included Anne Hathaway, Nicole Richie and Katie Holmes. Anderson’s agency confirmed to the Mail that she has been working with the Princess of York since the Royal Wedding and signed a nondisclosure agreement.
So is Anderson worth her crazy high day rate? So far it seems so. Take a look at Bea’s best outfits post-Royal Wedding.
