The 15th Annual Webby Awards, which seem to be like the CFDAs of the internet, took place in New York last night. An impressive roster of celebs doled out awards to the best websites in various categories. Daniel Radcliffe presented Wintour, who actually went to the Webby Awards, with the “People’s Voice” award for fashion for Vogue.com. (I guess they chose Radcliffe to present because his Harry Potter co-star is a Vogue cover girl? Or that he’s been in Vogue before? Or just that he was there and also British?).

Anyways, Wintour‘s five word acceptance speech is shaping up to be one of the most famous quotes of the night: “Sometimes, geeks can be chic.” Oh that Anna, always a riot. Even if she did dart of the stage like it was the end of a bad fashion show, Wintour’s presence would seem to indicate her acknowledgement of the importance of the internets. Yay for that!
