Adventures In Copyright: Poor Prada! Jeffery Campbell Strikes Again

Prada's rainbow sole flatforms just can't get a break. As the winner of the spring runways, they flew off the shelves and drew the attention of more than one copycat. The latest is frequent offender Jeffrey Campbell, whose version is not really a bargain, ringing in at $130.

Also, the JC version is clunkier and not so sleek looking, so it's a double fail. As we've said before, if such a blatant knock-off is still pricey, why bother? Perhaps you'll be skipping the waiting list and saving $470 but it's probably better to just go for the real deal. Plus, it seems unfair to to give Campbell business for knocking off a hardworking designer's team.

Which would you spring for? The not-so-cheap knockoff or the true Prada (or neither)?
