There are a full 14 kaptivating, non-krappy kolors in the new Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor Kollection. (I promise that is the last time I will inappropriately use K words in this post.) All kidding aside, the colors are pretty cute, with names to match. “Hard Kourt Fashionista,” “Follow Me on Glitter,” and “Listen to your Momager!” are some of the choices. You could be forgiven if when people ask you what color you’re wearing, you just say, “Teal.”
The polishes will be available for Holiday 2011 and will retail for $7.99.
In other exciting nail polish news, Deborah Lippmann’s new fall colors have been revealed. She was directly inspired by the colorways on designer runways, and the results are some gorgeous, deep, jewel-toned polishes. “Billionaire” is a dark pine green, “Single Ladies” is a dark red, and “Brick House” is a shimmering rust. Lippmann developed “Stormy Weather,” an on-trend creamy granite, specifically for Narciso Rodriguez’s show. They go for $16 at Barneys, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom or on Lippmann’s site.
Lippmann’s glitter polishes are the stuff of legends, and she’s packaged three of them up together for Holiday 2011. The set includes “Happy Birthday,” her classic rainbow glitter polish, and two new glitters: “Forget You” (sheer black base) and “Candy Shop” (bubblegum pink base). You’ll be able to snag them at Nordstrom’s anniversary beauty sale which starts July 15 (Editor’s note: more info to come on this worth-blowing-off-work beauty event.)
