It's a Girl for Victoria Beckham! (Did Seinfeld or a Fashion Mag Influence the Name?)

The Beckham clan finally has a little more girl power. Many congrats to Victoria and David Beckham on their first baby girl, Harper Seven. She was born in L.A. on Sunday morning at 7:55 PST and weighed a healthy 7 lbs 10 oz. Victoria's publicist tweeted the good news yesterday. We're sure you're wondering about that name. The Beckhams don't usually go for the most traditional names--their son Brooklyn was famously named after the place he was conceived, but we're pretty sure that isn't the case with little Harper (but who knows...). The Daily Mail writes, "A close friend of the couple said: 'Harper is an old English name something Victoria has always liked. Seven is a very lucky happy number and the baby was born just after 7am, in the seventh month.'" The British paper even speculates the baby was named after Harper's Bazaar magazine. As for the "Seven" part, are the Beckhams just big Seinfeld fans?

As for the "Seven" part, are the Beckhams just big Seinfeld fans? In the show, George Costanza was obsessed with naming his kid seven and was livid when a couple stole the name.

After three boys, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, we're excited that Victoria finally has a girl and we bet she is too. Of course, it's entirely possible that little Harper will take after her dad and become an amazing athlete, but we're secretly hoping she'll take after her fashion designing mom, or at that we at least get to see her in some super cute baby clothes.

Speaking of which, Kate Hudson also gave birth to a baby boy this weekend, just one day before Victoria. No word yet on the name, but since Kate is friends with fellow new mom Rachel Zoe (or at least made an appearance on her reality show once), we're sure they will totally be making baby shopping trips together.

Is there room for this many fashionable babies in Hollywood?? Also, how long do you think it will take Posh to lose the baby weight? We're guessing, like, maybe a week.
