While Chanel is already listed under Haute Couture, the French brand has attained a legendary status that merits its own slide. It’s probably one of the first three things that come to mind when ones thinks of Paris. (Even my NFL-loving Dad knows who Karl Lagerfeld is.) Through fragrances, beauty, and the 2.55 bag, Chanel has become a fashion phenomenon. Karl Lagerfeld’s kingly status has helped out too. I mean, he is known as the “Kaiser.”
