Hipster parents everywhere can breath a sigh of relief. Opening Ceremony is launching their very first kids collection in collaboration with A is for Apple, a Hong Kong-based brand.
The collection is "inspired by the French Riviera storytelling of Opening Ceremony’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection" the release informs, and is essentially meant to be big kids' Opening Ceremony shrunk down for little kids. Sadly the line is for girls and boys age six months through six years, which means there's absolutely no way I or any small adult can squeeze into them (Crew Cuts size 14 is a different story).
Of course, the look book is styled to hipster-kid perfection--child models look like they're having fun just being kids, blowing bubbles, holding balloons, hanging out in cute clothes. The sailor hats and eye patches and bunny ears add some adorable childlike whimsy too.
Take a look.
