Obviously, as fashion-obsessives, we’re a little nutty about models. We’re also pretty into blogging. And tweeting. Oh, and Tumbling, too. With that said, it shouldn’t be a surprise that we really adore the Supes that gratuitously plaster themselves all over the web. Some are incredibly savvy (whaddup, Coco?); some just run a hilarious Twitter. Either way, these accounts should all be on your must-follow list. Click through for the full list, and let us know if we missed your favorite internet-obsessed model.

The fashion crowd now has a summer answer to this past winter’s Standard Hotel ice rink. Now, starting next Thursday, there will be a cute little roller skating rink nearby under the High Line, thanks to Japanese retailer Uniqlo.

New Yorkers willing to brave the heat for some old-fashioned roller skating and other fun activities can head to the former parking lot on 10th avenue and 30th street from July 28 to September 26. And, if you’re one of the first 500 people on either of the first two days, you can get in for free! Uniqlo is also erecting a pop-up shop that will, according to the press release, be “glowing” adjacent to the rink. Here’s what this will all look like:

I am a major mascara junkie. In my opinion, no single cosmetic makes you look more feminine or more awake (which is a frequent problem for me). So when I started to get wind of the new semi-permanent mascara options and read rave reviews from other beauty editors, I was excited when a company offered to let me try a treatment.

I tried CryBaby, a salon treatment which just launched nationwide and costs around $40. It lasts about two weeks, unlike some other semi-perm mascara options–LashDip lasts six weeks with a touch-up in the middle. I liked that it is a relatively short term commitment.

Packed. That’s the best way to describe Madewell‘s opening party in San Francisco. Long overdue: the best way to describe Madewell’s arrival in San Francisco. J.Crew’s hipster sister finally opened doors in the Westfield shopping center, only a floor below the only J.Crew store in the city. Close enough for comfort.

For the opening party, the city’s cutest came out for beers and mini Le Truc sandwiches while eying the laid back not-so-basics, the famous Denim Bar, and colorful Bracelet Bar. SF bloggers sang praises for the newcomer, while local lifestyle magazine 7×7 sponsored the party and teamed up with the brand for a dedicated “Hometown Heroes” section of curated goods from local stores. For those wondering, and wanting to nab the now sold out Mollusk Surf Shop fish crew neck sweatshirt, the Hometown Heroes are in the store to stay. Gigi Guerra, director of Madewell marketing explained: “Hometown Heroes will be ongoing in our San Francisco store—there’s just so much local talent and great stuff coming out of the Bay Area that we want to celebrate it.”

Yes, Kanye West is really definitely designing a collection and has been unyielding in getting outside support and advice from anyone he can. Last week, Louise Wilson, the director of the MA in fashion course at Central Saint Martins, confirmed to the Guardian that Louise Goldin was collaborating with Kanye West on his once-rumored, now-factual clothing line. Today, Harper’s Bazaar Australia has further confirmed that it’s happening and revealed that their fashion editor Christine Centenera (who is also a freelance stylist) has been traveling to Paris twice monthly and consulting West on its’ creation since the two met at Paris Fashion Week in March.

WWD ran a rumor today suggesting that Macy’s was about to reveal Karl Lagerfeld’s much-anticipated collection for the department store. We’ve yet to witness said reveal, but we did see a Karl for Macy’s dress in August’s Vogue, via the glossy’s Steal of the Month column. (True Blood‘s Deborah Ann Woll is modeling it.) In the interview, Lagerfeld explains that the looks are inspired by the dresses he became famous for at Chloe. Which is apropos, given he worked there in the ’70s and everyone’s very into that style right now. Are you excited for the collection after seeing this first look?

Oh, Lauren Conrad, you minx! Once again, you’ve sent us running to our computer’s zoom button to analyze every strand of your hair.

Today LC popped up on People StyleWatch after having debuted a new colored-hair look. Fans got a hint that something was up when she tweeted yesterday: “Attempting a more wearable version of colored tips for the evening… Compliments of @Kristin_Ess ;-)” Kristin is, of course, her hair stylist and a contributor on LC’s beauty site.

Emma Watson Attending Oxford: Apparently, Brown just didn’t do much for the superstar. No worries, she’s not dropping out- just doing her junior year abroad…in her home country. {Vogue UK}

Olivia Palermo is the Cover Girl of the Summer: The former “Elle accessories editor” (read: reality TV star) is now taking over the newsstands in a new way. She’s covering three different magazines this summer, looking unsurprisingly drop-dead gorgeous on each one. Love her or hate her, this girl has got some serious style. {MTV Style}

Kirsten Dunst Models in Another Friend’s Look Book:
Opening Ceremony just posted the look book for their collaboration with Reyn Spooner, known for his Hawaiin print shirts. It stars Jonathan Rice, Jenny Lewis and Kirsten Dunst all looking very cute. Kirsten’s boyfriend Jason Boesel shot it. Hopefully Scott Sternberg isn’t too jealous. Also, we guess hipsters wearing Hawaiian prints is going to be a thing. {Opening Ceremony}

What to Wear to a Mid-Summer Wedding

Wednesday, Jul 20, 2011 / 12:00 PM

Wedding season definitely isn’t over. Indeed, August is the second most popular month for nuptials in the US. For those of us with a big batch of soirees to attend, it’s the perfect time to splurge on a few pretty, versatile dresses. Luckily, Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale has arrived. Now until August 1, you can score major discounts on brand new merchandise at the department store.

We’re particularly smitten with this Calvin Klein tin-colored sheath with a bow at the waist ($78, was $110). Dress it up with a pair of strappy sandals and some super sparkly earrings for a seriously dazzling evening look.

Another versatile choice is the Lida Baday Gathered Radzimir dress ($669, was $1,150). Sure, this LBD is great for work, but its luxe silk blend and extravagant folds at the front make it perfect for an evening soiree as well. We like it with a fancy bib necklace and bright, colorful heels.

If you’re as obsessed with prints as we are, consider this splashy number of Julie Dillon ($149.90, was $228). The charmeuse fabric is nice and light against the heat, and it looks great with a stack of shimmering bangles.

Speaking of bangles, we love this style from Givenchy ($35, was $55.) Buy a bunch and pile them up–they’ll pair nicely with pretty much any frock. After all, it might be midsummer, but it’s still a wedding. You should sparkle…even just a little.

This post is sponsored by Nordstrom.com. Shop the Anniversary Sale: Next Season on Sale Now. Prices go up August 1.
