Do you ever feel like you just can’t have too much Twitter in your life? Unsatisfied by instantaneous phone notifications, hourly updates and that knee-jerk “I need to Tweet this” reaction you’ve developed? Well, you’re in luck! Behold, the Hashtag# ring by jewelry designer Wendy Brandes.

Bernard Arnault, rap muse? Never thought we’d write that sentence but it’s true: Soulja Boy has named his new mixtape the “Bernard Arnault EP” after the LVMH chairman.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen rap embrace fashion. Kanye West performs in Celine, raps about Phobe Philo and rattles off rhymes listing models only a fashion insider would recognize. And he’s reportedly showing his own line at New York Fashion Week this September. But Soulja Boy and Bernard Arnault? Never saw it coming.

Everyone generally falls all over themselves lauding Kate Middleton’s style. And admittedly, she always looks polished, respectable, and exudes a sense of propriety, which is what’s expected of her as a royal. There’s also been a lot of fuss about how she’s so low maintenance when it comes to her beauty routine (expect with that flowing mane of hers, for which she travels with her beloved and loyal hairdresser).

Kate famously did her own makeup for her wedding, and has sort of stuck with the same formula ever since. I have said from the beginning that I think her makeup is a bit harsh and makes her seem older, which is not the look you want when you’re in your twenties. After say, age 19 when you’re trying to look older to get into bars, the goal should be age-appropriate. But I’m not a professional and it’s a miracle I can even apply mascara to myself, so I decided to elicit the opinion of an expert to really break down Kate’s look.

Brett Freedman has been a makeup artist in the industry since the early 90s, working with actresses and musicians ranging from Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez to Camilla Belle, Sienna Miller, and Catherine Zeta Jones. He is also the founder of Vanitymark cosmetics, a boutique line of brow tools, lip balm and body makeup.

Brett was not afraid to critique Kate, and calls her K.Mil, which further endeared him to me. Of her look, Brett said, “K.Mil has such a polished look that it borders on boring.” *gasp* Here are his thoughts about her look (and it’s full of tips for us regular people, too):

Anja Rubik Got Married In A Mullet-Train Dress: The short-in-front, long-in-back dress is actually really gorgeous. Also love her ribbon-tie heels and the enormous crowns she and now-hubby Sasha Knezevic sport. {Vogue UK}

See Images From Ricardo Tisci’s Religion-Themed Issue of Visionaire: Since it’s likely you won’t want to shell out the $425 for the full issue, check out some photos here. It’s a bit unusual (there’s a banana wrapped in a ribbon that says “Jesus <3 Me") but looks great, with shots of Lara Stone, Arizona Muse with her babyy, and even Tisci himself. {Styleite}

Mulberry Makes Bank: Shoulda invested in an Alexa before it was cool. The Brit brand’s stocks rose 526% last year and its worth jumped from to $267 million to $1.65 billion, making it the world’s best-performing fashion house. {Telegraph}

Beyoncé has never been afraid to take risks with her wardrobe choices, whether it’s Thierry Mugler, who created her tour wardrobe in 2009, McQueen or Givenchy couture, both of which she wore in the “Girls” video; or even a Tina Knowles creation. Her looks are always daring and transformative.

For her latest fold-out album cover, the Times notes, Beyoncé’s signature bold looks are there, but the big designer names are not. On the cover, she wears a fur stole by up-and-coming French designer Alexandre Vauthier, who she also wore on stage at Glastonbury recently, where she outshined the mud-covered masses in a gold sequined number by the designer.

We love Sophy Robson based on her work and her blog alone–hopefully someday we’ll be able to meet her in person and pick her brain for all her nail knowledge. But until then, we can just hang out on Sephora’s website.

The UK-based Robson just did a series of how-to nail art videos, which coincide nicely with the retailer’s recent announcement that they’re going to start offering nail salon services in-store. We are also loving this new trend of actual experts–like Pat McGrath’s collab with Cover Girl–posting videos about how to get certain beauty looks. (Not that we don’t admire the enthusiasm of all those 15-year-olds with YouTube accounts out there.)

It’s been all but confirmed by the models themselves that Freja Beha Erichsen and Arizona Muse, perhaps two of the most relevant and prolific models of the moment, are a couple. Yep, it’s insane. Two super hot models are getting it on and people are excited about it. Maybe even a little too excited..

This news recently inspired someone to create this Tumblr, on which he or she posts photographs of the models accompanied by a fictional account of what each of them is saying or sometimes even what they are thinking. For example, in one post, the author presents an account of Arizona getting off the phone with Anna Wintour after finding out she lost the August Vogue cover to Sarah Jessica Parker. Freja is not happy about this. In another post, Freja serenades Arizona with the Mandy Moore song “Candy.” Also, much of the dialogue is a little R-rated, which isn’t surprising given the name of the blog: “FREJA AND ARIZONA ARE F***ING.”

“Sometimes the best shopping partner is the one who sits like a cigar store Indian and reads the paper.”

– The Samurai Shopper in a post describing shopping at AllSaints. Somewhere in the New York Times’ style guide there must be a section on racial monikers from the 19th century. And even if there’s not, they must have at least watched that episode of Seinfeld involving Jerry’s Native American girlfriend.

Express has been bringing fashion to the masses quite literally for the last few seasons by staging public outdoor runway shows in New York, Miami, and Las Vegas. They’re really going for it this coming Saturday, by inviting passersby to walk on their public runway in Times Square here in NYC from 9am to 6pm.

Have modeling aspirations but you’re only 5’2”? No matter. Express is having the folks from the Guinness Book of World Records out to watch the retailer try to break the world record for most people to walk a catwalk. This distinguished honor is now held by Galeries Lafayette, according to WWD, where 521 people strutted down a runway. So we’re assuming all you have to do is propel yourself from one end to the other, and you’re good. Easiest model casting ever. (This is not to be confused with “longest runway,” which we think Copenhagen has the honor of having hosted. Who wants to walk a mile in this heat?)
