Even though Kanye’s staying mum about his rumored fashion line, his actions (attending Alaïa couture, mining a Central Saint Martins prof and A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou for fashion advice, designing silk scarves with French graphic design and art direction team M/M, and performing in women’s Celine) would suggest otherwise. The latest rumor about Kanye’s forthcoming fashion line comes from Grazia, who is reporting that the rap star will debut his womenswear collection at New York Fashion Week.
According to Grazia, Yeezy has recruited knitwear phenom Louise Goldin to oversee design and is getting one-on-one lessons from CSM legend Louise Wilson. And even though the Telegraph previously reported that Kanye had a studio in Paris and was working on collection to show in the city of lights, Grazia has it from “excellent sources” that he has studios in NYC and London and will show in New York.
New York, London or Paris we can’t wait to see what Kanye has in store.
