Vogue Paris’ August Cover Features Lara Stone and Some ’60s Style Optimism
By Steff Yotka
Dutch beauty Lara Stone is the cover star of August’s Vogue Paris. Shot by Inez and Vinoodh, the cover is a dramatic departure from the close up shots that have dominated the mag since the start of Emmanuelle Alt’s tenure.
The full-length shot shows Stone sporting Princess Leia buns and pushing aside her dress to revel some sheer thigh-highs. In the background is a ’60s era car and an airplane taking off. It’s dramatic, perhaps inspired by the best films the magazine includes inside. It’s unanimous across the Fashionista team that we love this cover; what do you think?
