Future brides, take some advice from a recently-married writer: Don’t ask the people who are supposed to be your best friends to spend a lot on a dress. If you really like a $500 dress, give it to them as a gift for being in the wedding. Try to aim for $200 or below, unless all of your friends are loaded. But even then it’s still kind of rude to ask them to pay up. I found an adorable dress for my maids on ASOS that was only $50. If they never wear it again I don’t feel bad. Because let’s be real: They are never going to wear it again!
