Olivia Palermo just announced that she’s launching a style blog. We’d imagine if all Palermo does with her new site is post photos of her outfits and dole out advice on how she puts them together it will be an instant success. Because despite being out of the pop culture machine since the demise of MTV’s The City, Palermo has managed to hold some kind of spell over fashionistas across the globe (seriously, Brits and Brazilians are obsessed) simply by being pretty and having really good style. There are countless blogs and comment threads on the Fashion Spot devoted solely to her street style and with good reason: the girl knows how to put an outfit together. And while Palermo has access to prohibitively expensive and hard-to-get couture and designer pieces, she mixes them with easily affordable high street items. Her trick? She manages to make Zara look just as expensive as the Lulu Frost necklace and Charlotte Olympia platforms she pairs them with.
