Anna Dello Russo Is Editing and Styling INC for Macy's

Macy's is really trying to bump its fashion image up a notch or two. First the designer capsule collections--Karl Lagerfeld's is up next--and now: Anna Dello Russo. The kooky and beloved Vogue Japan editor has been tagged as the "premiere INC Editor at Large," which makes us think that Macy's will be featuring other editors in this role. What exactly does an INC Editor at Large do, you ask? Next week the press will get a preview of INC's new collections as "edited and styled" by ADR. Based on the picture that accompanied this release (left), it looks like Anna may be the face for the campaign, too.

INC, a Macy's brand best known for practical garments for everyday women (and also occasionally for dabbling in collections by Project Runway contestants), could get a shot of high fashion from ADR. Will there be headpieces? A fruit theme? One can only hope.
