Plus two Louis Vuitton duffles. Rodger does not look pleased. Hopefully at least two of them are for baby Skyler. Read more »

So we may or may not watch the E! reality show Kendra from time to time. She’s likable. She keeps it real. And apparently, she sometimes wears basketball shorts to five-star restaurants, which is why on this week’s season premiere, her agent forces her to meet with a stylist. But, not just any stylist.

Nikki Pennie, who hails from the UK, is apparently responsible for Kate Middleton’s infatuation with Issa, as in the famous blue dress she wore for the official engagement announcement back in November. (She also wore the label frequently before and after.) Pennie was Issa’s director of public relations, according to her bio, and was dubbed a “PR Powerhouse” by Vogue UK.

So how did Nikki Pennie go from putting the Duchess of Cambridge in conservative frocks to dressing a former Girl Next Door?

MILAN–Missoni is hitting all the right notes at the moment: their memorable campaign with Leighton Meester, and the recent gargantuan success of their Target collaboration–modeled by Margherita–proved that the classic Italian house still knows how to remain contemporary.

This was further reflected in the show, which was young and “re-interpreting our language, which is a constant challenge,” said Angela Missoni backstage, minutes after the show.

First look at Gwen Stefani’s Baby Clothes: Here’s a taste of what’s to come from Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Mini line for Target, which will hit stores November 13. Sizing will range from 6 months to 16 years, which means we, and possibly Nicki Minaj, may be able to fit into some under-$30 Harajuku tutus. {Celebrity Babies}

Jay-Z’s Designing Jerseys with Adidas: Jay-Z, prolific hip hop artist, clothing designer and co-owner of the newly named Brooklyn Nets, will proudly be designing the team’s new uniform in collaboration with Adidas. {New York Post}

Another Critic Dares to Critique Tom Ford: Le Figaro‘s Virginie Mouzat has recently given her account of Tom Ford’s exclusive show during London Fashion Week. Like Lynn Yaeger and Jess Cartner-Morley, Mouzat gave a review that was not exactly glowing. In fact, she literally calls it “an out-of-style Gucci collection from ten years ago” and then goes on to list all of the other designers she thinks Ford copied. {Le Figaro via The Cut}

MILAN–In a game of 60s purity, ladylike touches, and 70s prints, the Marni collection read like a tale of a girl growing into womanhood.

The well-behaved, clean cut collection kicked off with a series of reinterpreted baby doll dresses–knee-length, soft-toned, paired down–yet with subtle flap details at the front and a cinched waist, complete with stockings and a slip poking out.

This was followed by sleeveless tops with a flare at the hips paired with a straight skirt. The patterns became more complex throughout the show: 70s geometrical prints, floral motifs in a pink palette and (perhaps the tour de force of the collection) a lurex embroided rose-hued dress, that looked neither tacky nor girly.

Ever thought to yourself, gee, I really wish I could find a self-tanner to give me that special Pauly D orange glow? Yeah, we didn’t think so.

But apparently, someone thinks there’s a demand for the Jersey Shore star’s signature burnt toast shade, and now Pauly D himself is planning on cashing in on it with a new line of tanning products.

We find this very, very hard to believe but Vogue UK is reporting that Alexander Wang is the next designer to be considered for the hallowed Dior job.

A “source close to LVMH” told the magazine that, “for Dior, it’s a pretty tricky situation, as the three favorites really can’t take the job. Haider Ackermann is said to be ‘way too edgy’ for Dior; Marc Jacobs wanted the job a lot, but LVMH wants him to stick with Vuitton; and Riccardo Tisci simply refused, saying that he was feeling more than comfortable with the job at Givenchy. So nobody’s taking over so far.”

People reached out to the palace to try to get some scoop on whether or not Kate Middleton may be considering a shoot with Vogue, as was reported yesterday. While the thought of a Mario Testino shoot with the Duchess doubtless had many mouths watering (think of the newsstand sales!), it looks like it won’t be happening, at least at this moment.

A palace spokesperson told People, “There are no plans for the Duchess to do anything with U.S. Vogue.” Kinda terse, no? But they didn’t say never.

Kelly Cutrone‘s return to reality tv could be imminent and have a totally new context. The fashion publicist and author may replace Andre Leon Talley as a judge on America’s Next Top Model after the 17th season ends, Page Six reports. Talley’s been on the show for four years and since he began, his title at Vogue has changed from editor at large to the less burdensome one of contributing editor. Perhaps he intends to increase his role there again? Maybe Anna misses him?

Since Kell on Earth doesn’t look to be coming back anytime soon and The Hills/The City are definitely dunzo, we were wondering when we would be seeing Kelly on the small screen again. Given the affinity she’s shown for giving advice and making decisions, we think she would make a great judge for just about anything.
