Jennifer Chun
Jennifer Chun is another one of this year’s Gen Art Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion presented by smart car and even though we’d never heard of her until a few weeks ago, we’re already kind of obsessed. Out of all of the talented designers in this slideshow, Jennifer may be the only one whose fall collection didn’t contain one look I didn’t love. Formerly the senior designer at Brian Reyes, Jennifer also had gigs at Michael Kors and Derek Lam. No biggie. She also studied fashion design at Pratt and, well before that, would reconstruct her mother’s clothing in Ohio, transforming silk blouses and wool skirts into modern, wearable pieces. Jennifer clearly has the passion, skill and experience to do well in this industry and the proof is already in the pudding.
