Kaelen
The last time we caught up with Kaelen Farncombe, she was telling us about how her spring 2011 collection was inspired by tornado chasing. We’re not sure if any natural disasters have inspired her this season, but she did mention “witchy women, Stevie Nicks, something romantic and a little haunted,” which sounds awesome. The Toronto native launched her namesake collection early last year after stints with Fashionista faves Jenni Kayne and Stella McCartney. Not surprisingly, Kaelen’s clothes are sophisticated, classic and clean in the best way. Even though there are very few prints, colors or embellishments, the clothes stand out. Last season, she showed some really cute outerwear and we can’t wait to see what’s next at her presentation Saturday.
