Two sets of brothers, James, Liam, and Sam Fayed and Paulo and Carlos Goncalves launched Bespoken as a design collective in fall of 2009. The New York-based menswear line is inspired by Savile Rowe and rock & roll. The clothes are rooted in British tailoring and we can’t help but be reminded a bit of rag & bone with these guys–but not in a copycat way. Their British influence is legitimate, as the Fayed family owns British clothier Turnbull & Asser and most of the clothing is actually manufactured in England. Their successful balance of style, tailoring and wearability ensures they’ll go far.
