Urban Outfitters Removes All It’s “Navajo” Products: The retailer was distastefully selling items labeled “Navajo,” and received a cease-and-desist letter in June from the Navajo Nation, who has a trademark on the name since, you know, it’s their name and all. After some controversy, all UO’s “Navajo” products have either disappeared or been renamed. {Jezebel}

Katie Grand Awarded Fashion Innovator of the Year: On October 27, The Wall Street Journal is hosting its first-ever awards show to honor “Innovators of the Year,” where Grand will receive the fashion award. Congrats Katie! {WWD}

In this day and age, everyone can probably admit to being just a wee bit addicted to social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. (Go on, you can admit it. This is a safe space.) So it’s only natural that our internet obsessions would find their way into our wardrobes one day.

And friends, that day is today. Copyranter found these genius social-media-themed Keds, designed by graphic designer Lumen Bigott. Biggot created four styles designed to rep our favorite social mediate sites: Twitter, Facebook, Wikipedia and Google Buzz, and they are amazing.

Sadly they are still concept-only and have no prospect of going into production. But we have faith that will change soon (pretty, please?), because c’mon, who wouldn’t want to wear a Facebook friend request on their feet all day!?

So Keds, we hope you’re listening. You need to get on this shit already!

We already gave you a look at the awesomeness that is the full Versace for H&M collection but if you can’t get enough, there’s more. Here’s the men’s look book as well as the full ad campaign, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, styled by Joe McKenna, and featuring models Sasha Pivovarova, Lindsey Wixson, Daphne Groeneveld and Abbey Lee Kershaw–all the Versace blonds. We especially like the one of Abbey Lee with a fake panther. RAWR.

As for the men’s collection, it will take a very confident special man to pull off a skin tight palm tree printed tee or a magenta suit. We would like to meet this man.

Rent the Runway has an exciting new addition to their already amazing inventory of current season designer goods (and makeup). In addition to the latest from Proenza, Calvin Klein, Richard Chai and more, members will now be able to rent designer vintage.

In partnership with vintage retailer What Goes Around Comes Around, they’re starting this new category off with a bang by offering accessories from one of the most sought after labels for vintage: Chanel. Starting today, you can pick from a drool-worthy selection of vintage Chanel handbags, necklaces earrings and bracelets that Rachel Zoe would die over–and you can actually afford. While there’s not necessarily anything wrong with wearing a head to toe off the runway look, we always love a little vintage thrown in, which is why we think this is a great idea.

We stopped by the launch party to check out Rent the Runway’s new offerings at What Goes Around Comes Around last night and they are good. Here’s all the info on what’s available and how much it will cost you to rent (they all sound like steals if you ask us):

Vogue Paris certainly plays favorites when it comes to cover girls so it’s nice to see a new face enter the mix. Model-of-the-moment Arizona Muse lands her first cover for the French fashion bible; a close-up of her smiling face graces November’s beauty issue. The cover was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

When the gay marriage bill was passed in New York, we couldn’t help but wonder what impact that might have on the New York-centric fashion industry and apparently neither could Cathy Horyn. In the Times today, she writes about stylish gay couples heading down the aisle and the outfits they have to choose from.

We have been seeing some unconventional wedding attire during bridal fashion week, and there are pieces that could work well for a lesbian wedding. See: simpler options like the pants suit, and tea length dresses that could counter a partner wearing a longer more traditional dress. According to Horyn, same-sex couples are a growing market that designers and retailers will be catering to. And J. Crew is happy to be one of those retailers.

Tom Ford is one of the more fascinating creative genius’ of our times. He’s also one of the most private. That is, up until now.

For the first time ever, Tom Ford opened the doors of his studio to Oprah’s OWN network for new Visionaries documentary and the result, as these clips and trailer (which we saw on Fashionologie) can attest, is a compelling intimate peek into the wonderful world (and mind) of Tom Ford.

Some of the highlights include a trip through Ford‘s design studio (“I like a very tight team, I like every body in one room”), backstage at his secret show, (“I look calm on the outside but I spend months and weeks and hours not sleeping thinking, rethinking everything”), a Beyonce cameo and several candid interviews with the designer (“[After leaving Gucci] I didn’t know who I was, I didn’t know what I was supposed to be.”)

We’ve been teased with lots of leaked campaign images for the Versace for H&M collection, but now–finally–the whole collection has been revealed–Vogue UK had it up early today. It will hit stores on November 17, so start making your list now.

Prices will range from $17.95 for crazily-printed men’s undies, to $299 for Anna Dello Russo‘s studded leather dress, according to WWD. The other dresses range from $149 to $249, and accessories like a silk purse will set you back $199. Expensive for H&M, but cheap for Versace, which is the whole point of these collabs, isn’t it? There are even some homeware items, like pillows and throw blankets.

Last night, we stopped by the Huffington Post Game Changers Awards at Skylight Soho. Aside from odd occurrences like Occupy Wall Street protesters chanting outside and a fire alarm going off, there was an interesting mix of people there.

We chatted briefly with Bai Ling, who was surprisingly pleasant to talk to even though her presence there was kind of baffling. The former Celebrity Rehab star told us she had a new song out on iTunes called “Rehab” and that her style has gotten more conservative since she got sober.

Later on, we caught up with Warby Parker’s Neil Blumenthal David Gilboa and Andrew Hunt. When asked what they thought of all the companies copying them (Eyefly, Shauns Shades), Neil offered, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery…I don’t know why someone would want to dedicate time to copying someone else, though.”
