Don’t get us wrong: We love us some white, frothy wedding gowns.

That being said, it’s nice to see some variation on the runways every once and a while–and this season definitely showed a number of unconventional looks that were a refreshing change.

But while we love that bridal gown designers are thinking more outside the box: Does a bride really want to take a sartorial chance on her wedding day? (Doesn’t she already have too many other things to worry about?) Or do you think wearing an atypical gown is the perfect way for a bride-to-be to show off her individuality?

Check out the top five unconventional trends to emerge from bridal fashion week. Would you wear any of them on your big day?

2. Where did “Kendall” come from? She’s pretty!

3. Is Joey more on his game with Jeremiah gone? These are some good one-liners about Rachel’s birth styling session.

4. Isn’t Starworks the only place they ever pull from?

Full disclosure: I am a Madewell addict. I started out innocently–it was a pair of jeans that was my gateway drug, so to speak–but at this point I’m almost laughably obsessed with the brand. So, naturally, I set out for the Spring 2012 presentation with an extra spring (sorry) in my step–despite the torrential downpour.

But upon entering the presentation space, stuffed with fresh wild flowers, mossy stones and, of course, clothes, I fell even more in love with the brand. (I warned you: I’m obsessed).

Seriously, though, putting my fanaticism aside, I can objectively say that you’re going to want to buy:
a) The colorful printed silk maxi skirts
b) A pair of perfectly-worked-in jeans form their new premium denim line Rivet and Thread
c) The red platform sandals
d) A striped linen dress with fitted bodice
e) The striped or patterned pants
f) All of the above

You already know my answer (it’s f, duh!) but click through the album and find out for yourself.

It must be pretty boring at the Jersey Shore now that summer’s over. If your life seems void of juice-head gorillas and excuses to GTL right now, you can always go trick-or-treating with your dogs two weeks early in broad day light, just like Jenni “JWoww” Farley! See her sipping a cocktail garnished with eyeballs, believably playing a game of pool, and being professionally fitted for her Svedka Bot Girl costume aka wetsuit. I don’t know, it still looks a little tight to me…

Here she is being fitted for this thing.

Being around Erica Domesek from PS I Made This is a heady experience. Even if you think you don’t have a creative bone in your body, after 10 minutes with her you’ll want to rip apart your house and start making things out of left-over takeout flatware. We’ve made everything from purses to fascinators with her–this time around she teamed up with Maybelline to make the beauty box seen above. We chatted with her about inspiration, her favorite beauty products, and a new DIY project with *swoon* nail polish: Read more »

Miranda Kerr popped by the Victoria’s Secret on 58th and Lexington Ave. today to pose next to the $2.5 million bra she’ll be wearing at the Victoria’s Secret runway show on November 9 (airing on November 29 on CBS). Kerr is the 16th Victoria Secret Angel to wear the multi-million dollar Fantasy bra, and it’s the first time she’s been given the honor.

The “Fantasy Treasure Bra” has a kind of Mata Hari vibe this year. It’s handset with nearly 3400 precious gems, including pearls, citrines and aquamarines, and the hanging centerpiece tassel is made of two white diamonds weighing over eight carats each and two yellow diamonds weighing over 14 carats each. It was crafted by the expert hands over at London Jewelers in Long Island, and took over 500 hours to make. And in keeping with this season’s under-the-sea trend, the bra is aqua.

So is Miranda Kerr nervous about her wearing all that bling and not much else nine months after giving birth?

“Oh no,” she told us, wearing a hot pink Michael Kors number with a slit up to there. “This is something I’ve always wanted to do.”

It would seem that Kerr and all the other Victoria’s Secret Angels (ahem, Gisele) have magic rubber band bodies that just snap into place after having kids–after all, Kerr walked the runway at Balenciaga just three months after having her son Flynn with husband Orlando Bloom. But Kerr confessed she is doing extra work to prep for her big blinged-out walk down the runway next month.

My day-to-day wardrobe choices are very practical. I’m like, ‘What’s the temperature?’ ‘Am I going to be sitting in the grass?’ ‘Will I be playing with kids?’ ‘Can I sit on the floor?’ If I bend over [I'm] worrying about that … embarrassing shot.

Ugg-ly Footwear Losing Stock Value The end of a fashion epidemic?? Stock in the comfy-yet-unfortunate looking booties has fallen a nearly unheard of 39% in the past week, and Crocs aren’t doing so hot either. It’s time to put them away, people. Forever. {Racked}

Tom Ford’s Documentary Airs Next Week : Tom Ford: Visionaries will air October 23 on OWN, offering a rare “intimate” look at Ford’s creative process and daily life. He apparently takes more than three baths a day. While we’re really excited about this doc, we’re secretly wishing this were a segment of now-defunct Oprah Winfrey Show– if only to hear Opie belt out a satisfying “Tooooom FoooOOOooord!!!” {Marie Claire}

Fashionable TwitPics of the Week: Revealing phone pics of Kim K. doing hookah, Hilary Rhoda’s store bought cookie dough, and Lily Donaldson on a very tiny horse. There’s even one of Doutzen Kroes doing her best Scarlett Johannson impression… well, almost. {FabSugar}

Chanel Model on France’s Dancing With The Stars Male model, Karl’s muse, and sometimes-”pop star” Baptiste Giabiconi is a contestant on France’s version of DWTS. He’s often shirtless… and wearing body glitter. Wonder if Karl tunes in every week for inspiration? {OhLaLa}

We love Lula almost as much as we love Elle Fanning, so we’re starting to get a little jealous of Tavi getting to meet and interview all of our favorite people at the age of 15, but what can you do?

Anyway, Tavi had high tea with stylist and Lula editor-in-chief Leith Clark in a suite at the Pierre Hotel in New York and the highlights of their conversation have just been published on NOWNESS. They sat in “fluffy marshmallow beds” and talked for an hour and a half about how Lula has inspired Tavi, why Tavi started her blog, and why she’s nostalgic for things she’s too young to have experienced. Even more of their convo, which maybe wasn’t “serious” enough for NOWNESS, is on the site’s Facebook page, where they talk about remakes of ’80s movies and Zac Efron. Tavi also bring up her best friends Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld. Here are the best things we learned:

The first issue of Lula was kind of an accident:
