With two gorgeous boutiques and an e-commerce website, Peridot Fine Jewelry is a leading force in both the fine and fashion jewelry scene. We represent over 25 designers from around the country, showing collections from emerging artists with one-of-a-kind pieces, to highly branded, celebrity adored fine jewelry lines.
We are looking for a passionate and driven full-time Assistant Manager to help us grow our beautiful Larchmont, NY boutique. Our ideal candidate is dynamic and motivated and will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager on both sales and administrative levels. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • Support Manager in all areas as it pertains to the store’s business • Work with part-time staff to execute day-to-day operations and visual maintenance of the store • Liaise with our Greenwich, CT store to ensure proper procedures and deadlines are met • Assist on the sales floor and lead the growth of Peridot’s clientele • Follow through with client inquiries, orders and repairs • Assist in visual merchandising and upholding an impeccable aesthetic as it relates to our jewelry • Communicate with our designers as needed • Assist in inventory management: entering new merchandise, daily transfers between stores, shipping and receiving • Assist in preparation for trunk shows and upcoming events • Be fully knowledgeable of our Point of Sale and inventory tracking system to run reports as needed (will train) • Stay current on the jewelry market and assess competitors, as well as potential new designers
Our ideal candidate is: • Professional in all aspects of demeanor, appearance and most importantly, service to clients as he/she would be representing the Peridot brand • Has a strong interest in establishing and building a close rapport with current and new clients • Not only punctual, but is also polished in his/her work ethic • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, meticulous, and can prioritize daily tasks • Eager to learn and is quick on their feet in challenging situations • Savvy with computers and is versed in MS Office Suite, predominantly Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as web if needed • Proactive and diligent in working as a team, or independently if needed, while possessing strong initiative and a “can do” attitude • Demonstrates exceptional problem solving and leadership skills • Has 2+ years of retail experience (required) • Available to work Saturdays (required)
