2009 was the year of Karlie in Vogue. We do mean that literally. She was the most featured model in the collective international editions of the magazine and was ahead of the rest of the pack by a country mile. Did you know that Karlie’s first Vogue cover was a reprint? That’s right, it was for the Portugal edition, but at least it was for the coveted September issue. Her first proper Vogue cover was for the Italian edition (not too shabby) which she shared with Rianne Ten Haken. Korea was next.
