Besties Haillee Steinfeld and Tavi Gevinson Go On a Disneyland Adventure!
By Dhani Mau
We saw a friendship blossom between actress Haillee Steinfeld and blogger/editor Tavi Gevinson back in July when they both attended the launch party for Miu Miu’s “noir” sunglasses in LA–they were joined at the hip. Since then, they’ve talked a lot about how much they like each other. And yesterday they reunited at Disneyland! We’ll ignore the fact that the 14 and 15 year olds appear to be skipping school and instead talk about how much fun they’re having and how cute it is!
They both look like something Tavi would have styled for Rookiemag and Haillee really impressed us with her Minnie Mouse-inspired red and white polka dot manicure (Thanks, HuffPo, for bringing this to our attention). However, Tavi should know that bangs and roller coasters really don’t work well together.
They appear to be alone, but as my roommate just pointed out, they are definitely not old enough to go to Disneyland by themselves. Apparently, Disneyland invites celebrities to visit in November and December, presumably to get people to come in the off season. We’re surprised Haillee and Tavi would take part in what is basically a weird, staged photo op but it did look fun and if anyone could make going to Disneyland in the fall look like the coolest thing ever, it would be these two.
We hope there’s a fun and adorable interview (like Tavi’s with her other Hollywood bestie Elle Fanning) to go a long with their adventure! For now, click through for all the pics of them being best pals and riding roller coasters.
