Carolina Herrera Will Sell the Wedding Dress She Designed for Bella Swan in Twilight: Breaking Dawn

Bella and Edward better stay together through 2012. It has just been announced that Carolina Herrera plans to produce the dress she designed for Kristen Stewart's character in Breaking Dawn, just as Vera Wang did for the slightly less fictional wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. It's a risky move given all of this year's high-profile breakups, but perhaps 2012 will be the year of staying together. Though, in all seriousness, we bet there are a lot of ladies out there who would love nothing more than to walk down the aisle in Bella Swan's wedding dress. Carolina told Reuters,

I wanted to create a magical moment that they had at the wedding. She's an innocent girl that is finding her first true love, so there is romance, there is magic, there is everything together.

We're sure Herrera stands to profit significantly from selling Bella's dress, if only from the attention it brings to her brand. However, she's not the only one. Yesterday, it was announced that a replica of the dress, which only made its on-screen debut last week, already went on sale at wedding retailer Alfred Angelo.

Oh, and for those who want the full Twilight wedding experience, Robert Pattinson is not going to marry you, but, as The Hollywood Reporter points out, furniture company MASHstudios is selling the bed that Edward and Bella got it on in (and marketing it as such). Gross.
