As we reported earlier, Hailee Steinfeld's fall 2011 Miu Miu campaign, which depicted her sitting near a train track, was banned in the UK for being “irresponsible because it depicted a child in an unsafe location.”
By that logic, the following ad campaigns, some of which depict actual dangerous situations, should never have made it to print. I mean, I can't believe we aren't hearing about people hurting themselves every day by climbing the Eiffel Tower in high heels and standing on top of volcanos. Although, death by attempting to recreate a Dior campaign would be a pretty chic way to go. Fashin has some excellent "irresponsible" ad campaigns with some hilarious captions here. Miranda Kerr for Rag & Bone: Miranda is risking a lot here--falling off that dock, ripping her Rag & Bone jeans, ruining those cute boots
Karlie Kloss for Oscar de la Renta: I mean, a car could come out of that garage at any moment.
Pixie Geldof for Diesel: These ads literally told people to do stupid things like this.
Marion Cotillard for Dior: While impressive, climbing the Eiffel Tower in heels while carrying a handbag is probably not a great idea.
Alexander McQueen: Standing atop an erupting volcano is typically ill-advised.
Hugo Boss Orange: I don't see any life jackets, reckless young people on a boat.
Daphne Groeneveld and Anaïs Pouiliot for Louis Vuitton: Ever heard of a seatbelt?
Maryna Linchuk for Miss Dior Cherie perfume: This looks fun but definitely isn't safe. Also, here she is riding a bicycle without a helmet. Sofia Coppola should be ashamed of herself.
Irina Kulikova for Moschino: Because standing up on a boat as it approaches a bridge is always a good idea.
Sisley: Doesn't this make you want to do drugs?
