Yes, Kim Kardashian is getting more media attention, if you can believe it!

As Kim continues with divorce proceedings and suing her ex-publicist, she can be seen on the cover of two fashion magazines due out this month (not including every single celebrity weekly): Marie Claire and, now, HauteMuse, a relatively new Middle Eastern fashion glossy that is distributed by Condé Nast (their first cover was Olivia Palermo).

The cover photo is in your face with a heavy dose of glamour (and makeup)--kind of the opposite of her abnormally toned down and natural-looking Marie Claire cover. The interview doesn't sound like it will be particularly illuminating, though the former Mrs. Humphries does reveal that she counts Nicole Richie as style inspiration, which we wouldn't have necessarily guessed. Here are a few quotes we were given from the cover story:

On her style inspiration:

I love people that take risks and have that confidence for fashion, like Nicole Richie and Rihanna. Even though I might not dress like them, I respect and really like their style.

On her Middle East visit:

I've been having so much fun in Dubai. I love it here so much. I've never been to Armenia, where my family is from and this is my first time to the Middle East, so I'm thankful for such a warm welcome. It feels like home.

Would she buy a home in Dubai?

I would, yes! I would have to come and figure out a place and all that, because I'm only here for three days, but so far I've loved it so much that I could totally see that.

So, that's what she was doing in Dubai earlier this year (besides trying on traditional garb). Do you think this cover will help expand her fame internationally, or just contribute to her overexposure?
