We should still be exhausted from the widespread chaos caused by Versace for H&M (there’s still lots of it on eBay, if you were wondering), but that hasn’t curbed our genuine excitement for Marni’s signature quirkiness to make its way into H&M stores (and our closets) next March. Consuelo Castiglioni said in a statement, “I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints.” This of course got us thinking about our own favorite Marni moments–from printed dresses to arty necklaces to chunky sandals with socks.
Since the collection will be rolling out for spring, we took a look back at Marni’s past spring collections to cull a selection of pieces we hope inspired Castiglioni’s H&M design process. The great thing about her designs, we’ve noticed, is how timeless and consistent they are, so even a piece from spring 2005 can still look current. Click through to see our picks.
