Ever since Carrie Bradshaw’s fictional Vogue spread centered around a wedding she didn’t end up going through with, we bet that’s become every celebrity’s worst nightmare: to do an advanced wedding-themed shoot for a mag and have the wedding never happen (it was a reality for Kristen Cavallari). However, in the case of next month’s Marie Claire cover (which just surfaced on TFS), the wedding did happen. It’s just that a divorce happened extremely soon after.

The most intriguing thing about the cover, besides the fact that Kim Kardashian looks uncharacteristically natural (and pretty) is that the headline reads ‘What Went On in Her Crazy Marriage.’ The past tense implies that the interview was conducted after Kim’s marriage to Kris Humphries went south. However, Kim only filed for divorce 10 days ago. Is this further proof that Kim and Kris’ relationship was staged? And that this magazine cover story was yet another opportunity for multiple parties to cash in on it?

Nicole Richie has come a long way since her days as Paris Hilton’s funny-but-also-kinda-trashy best friend. She’s got a fledgling clothing line, a successful accessories line (which she just won an ACE award for) and according to US Weekly, she’s also working on a new line for QVC. Go Nicole!

A source told the magazine: “The line is cute — it can be worn by teeny-tiny girls but also goes up to size XXXL,” and added that, “Nicole has a great fashion sense, and she’s very hands-on.”

No word yet on what the line will be called (may we suggest something honoring her other kid, Sparrow?), or what the pricing point will be, but QVC usually keeps things wallet-friendly.

It’s a shame she doesn’t wear more designers. I don’t really like the high street getting so much of the credit. I understand that there would be an array because you need to relate to so many people in the market, but she is a princess. If I were a princess, I’d be like, ‘Oh yeah, bring it on.’

2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show - Runway

The 16th annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show taped Wednesday night at the 26th St. Armory (it airs November 29 on CBS) and as usual, it was glittery, sexy and totally over-the-top. The $12 million show handily rivaled last night’s celeb-filled Prince-headlined Versace for H&M extravaganza, though there were some repeat performances. Nicki Minaj filled in [...]

Surprise! Vogue’s second annual special edition best dressed issue just hit newsstands and in addition to trend reports and a list of new style stars, Vogue has dubbed this year the “Year of the Sister.” The glossy is covered, appropriately, by everyone’s favorite stylish twin moguls Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, neither of whom have ever done a Vogue cover (weird, right?).

Of course, they’re not the only fashionable sisters deserving of attention. Inside, they also feature Dakota and Elle Fanning, Kate and Pippa Middleton, Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lou Doillon, Bianca and Coco Brandolini, Poppy and Cara Delevigne, Lily and Ruby Alridge, Claire and Virginie Clarins, and Rooney and Kate Mara.

Click through for a few photos we scanned from inside the issue, plus a look back at some more of our favorite stylish sisters, from Anne and Mary Boleyn to Tia and Tamara Mowry. Read more »

About a month ago, we told you about Fashion Week Internationale, Vice‘s new web series, in which intrepid reporter/Karlie Kloss doppelganger Charlet Duboc explores all those other fashion weeks that take place around the world. The very entertaining and eye-opening Pakistan and Full-Figured fashion weeks have already aired (you can watch those here), but we are especially fascinated by this week’s episode: Colombia Fashion Week.

We got a sneak peek of the episode and from beginning to end, it does not disappoint. It begins with a song in which the phrase “spank her ass” is repeated over and over again (in Spanish) and hostess Charlet Duboc makes the following astute observation: “Most fashion weeks are synonymous with cocaine, but this fashion week’s having an extra hard time totally trying to dispel that.” Read more »

Madonna’s new movie W.E. will hit theatres this December, so expect to see her hitting the publicity trail to support it. Exhibit A? She landed the cover of December’s Harper’s Bazaar with W.E. star Andrea Riseborough, who plays the controversial Wallis Simpson. The above picture is the subscriber version, and below is the newsstand version. There’s also a meaty interview with Madge inside the mag, which does not disappoint. Here are some of the highlights:

This morning, Donatella Versace and H&M creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch sat down with moderator Tim Blanks for a chat on (what else) the Versace for H&M collaboration, which will hit stores in (OMFG!) just over a week. Here’s what we learned.

The collection is an homage to Donatella’s late brother, Gianni:

“Yes, it was an homage to Gianni. I couldn’t [pay homage in the same way] in my own line [the main Versace line] because it’s too archival, but I wanted to give it to a whole new customer, especially the younger crowd, through H&M.”

Working on the collaboration was difficult for Donatella emotionally:

“[Before the collaboration] I never went back [into the archives] to look because it’s something I have in my heart and it’s very painful. It was a hard process for me but then I said, ‘No, everyone should see what Gianni was.”

Helena Christensen was one of many, many famous faces at last night’s Versace for H&M extravaganza but no one looked better in that black Versace for H&M LBD. We chatted with the supermodel during the “cocktail hour” about her latest turn as a music video star in Duran Duran’s just-released vid for “Girl Panic.” While the nearly 10 minute long video featuring stellar performances by Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen and Yasmin Le Bon as members of Duran Duran, truth be told we liked Christensen’s performance as hard partying drummer Roger Taylor best.

We caught up with the smoldering supermodel (seriously her eyes are distracting) at the “cocktail” hour before the runway show.

So there’s a coffee-based skin care line out there (Barista Bath and Body) and even a bacon fragrance (Bacōn by Fargginay). You can now complete your faux-breakfast skin care regimen with a new line of yogurt-based products called…Dairyface.

Dairyface contains all food grade ingredients (including high fat yogurt) and is so fresh that it has to remain refrigerated or it will spoil. When we first read about this skin care line in WWD earlier this week, smearing yogurt all over our faces at first sounded slightly gross, but after thinking about it, maybe it makes sense. Cleopatra supposedly took milk baths, right? We decided to seek out the founder of Dairyface to get the, ahem, scoop.
