Roberto Cavalli may be 70, but he just opened his first Tokyo boutique and feels as young as ever. WWD chatted with the Italian designer and somehow they arrived at the topic of how long he’s going to live. He then apparently felt the need to calculate how many times that means he’ll have sex before then:

“I’m young. I have another 50 years of life,” he said before going on to perform a mathematical equation and estimating that he will have sex another 15,000 times before his demise.

So there you have it. Roberto Cavalli will live to be 120 and have sex 300 times per year until then.

Christian Louboutin‘s shoes are not merely shoes. Depending on how you look at it, they can be art, or a representation of an orgasm or even a weapon (at least according to the TSA–remember how they tried to confiscate some guy’s studded loafers?)

Ranging from prim and ladylike to downright fetishistic, the Louboutin shoe is undoubtedly a conversation piece. And as shoes in general have become more ridiculously high and ornamented, Louboutin has responded in kind–and then some.

We’ve rounded up 20 of the shoe designer’s most outrageous styles. Wear at your own risk.

Racked just started one of the most fun and time-wasting Twitter hashtags (which we usually ignore) ever: #fashionicecream. If you’re thinking fashion and ice cream aren’t related, think again.

Inspired by the recent controversy over Ben & Jerry’s flavor Schweddy Balls (an ode to SNL), Racked National decided to create five fake fashion-inspired Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavors and photoshop them into actual B&J cartons. For example: Banana Wintour. Today, they decided to turn it into a contest on Twitter. From Racked NY:

Tweet your best fashion-themed ice cream flavor to @rackedny with the hashtag #fashionicecream by 8pm tonight for the chance to have your creation immortalized on the site via our phenomenal Photoshoping skills

We started perusing some of the #fashionicecream tweets and totally lost it. For some reason, they are so hilarious. So, we decided to round up our favorite ones so far, plus a few that we’ve thought of on our own.

Last night Tory Burch hosted a party at her Madison Ave. flagship store to celebrate Mindy Kaling’s new book, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns). What’s the connection, you might wonder? They’re Twitter friends, of course.

The event was on the late side and far away from where I live, but I couldn’t have been more psyched at the chance to meet and talk to Kaling, whom all of us here at Fashionista have a bit of a girl crush on. From her work on The Office, to her original blog Things I’ve Bought That I Love, to her prolific and hilarious Tweeting, her stuff just resonates with us.

We stifled our girl-crush nerves and pulled it together to chat with Kaling, who was dressed in head-to-toe Tory Burch and sipping on Mindy-tinis (the specialty cocktail of the night) about her book, online shopping, getting free shit, and taking prenatal vitamins even though she’s not pregnant. She was charming and gracious and seemed a little bemused by the whole “fashion party” scene (Samantha Ronson was DJing and Charlotte Ronson, Christian Siriano, Rachel Roy, Joe Zee and Michelle Trachtenberg were all there). We feel you.

Anyway, back to the interview.

Barneys threw quite the bash last night to fete Christian Louboutin and his new book, the eponymously titled Christian Louboutin, which celebrates his 20 years in the business. The guests, almost without exception wearing the distinctive red-soled stunners, included Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Blake Lively, Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keyes, and Calvin Klein.

We had a chance to catch up with the man himself, and while he understandably didn’t want to discuss his increasingly contentious lawsuit with YSL, he was more than happy to talk about how women wear shoes, that comment about the connection between orgasms and shoes, and whether or not heels are phallic:

We can’t really think of a more magazine-prescribed “first date-appropriate” outfit than the DVF wrap dress. And over the years, Diane von Furstenberg has become a bit of a voice of wisdom for the fashion industry. So, it actually makes a lot of sense that she will be doling first date outfit advice for Match.com, as we’ve just learned.

According to the press release,

With an emphasis on the ultimate accessory: DIANE, the designer’s new fragrance, and the message “Be the woman you want to be!” the two brands will co-host three unique styling events offering Match.com members exclusive expert advice on how to dress for success using three popular first-date scenarios: cappuccinos, cocktails and dinner.

If you’re wondering where the fragrance comes into play, Match.com conducted a survey among their members and “over 76% of respondents reported that they have been attracted to someone because of their scent.”

Coco Rocha is a woman with many talents: She’s a super star model (duh), talented Irish dancer, one-time TV host and now, a bonafide jewelry designer. Seriously, is there anything she can’t do (and look good while doing it)?

Rocha’s new jewelry line is called Coco Rocha for Senhoa. The line, in addition to being pretty darn lust-worthy, also benefits Senhoa, an organization dedicated to helping Cambodian victims of human trafficking, WWD is reporting. Rocha’s own celever tagline for the line? “Accessorize Your Conscience.”

This may be the first time Lady Gaga has covered a magazine whose outrageousness has nothing to with her. Sure, she’s dressed in a mermaid oufit but when isn’t she?

Gaga was shot by Inez & Vindoodh and styled by Nicola Formichetti for the front and back covers of the latest Visionaire, the LARGER THAN LIFE issue, which just happens to break the Guinness World Record for largest magazine ever–twice. The “standard” issue is just a regular old 3 X 4 feet, but the deluxe edition, of which there are only 250 available, is 5 x 7 feet. It’s not even life-size; it’s actually larger than a person.
