For their latest edition of ‘The Way I Dress,’ Mr. Porter turned the camera on New York Ranger and mega fashion fan Sean Avery.

The artfully lit, black-and-white video follows Sean through the whole getting-ready process–from underwear (yes) to fully-dressed. Sean really, really takes his time with it (seriously, dude takes about two hours just to tie his shoes) but we can’t say we’re complaining: Any extra time we have with a shirtless Avery is just fine by us.

Best of all, in addition to looking good, Sean comes off totally earnest and genuinely into style. A man who can body check and dress himself well? Yeah, we like.
