Menswear bibles GQ and Park & Bond are making guys' dreams come true this holiday season with their pop-up shop in the meatpacking district. And it's open for business starting today.
Stocked with a selection of the coolest products out there, handpicked by GQ's editors--their “Best Stuff of the Year,” as featured in the December issue--as well as a specially curated selection of products from Park & Bond, including the best designer brands (like A.P.C., Etro, Gant, Thom Browne, and more) for outerwear, apparel, denim, accessories, footwear, watches (new and vintage), tech, grooming products, and much more. And for all you last-minute gifters: There'll also be a huge selection of "impulse" purchases--aka little goodies for under $50 (think well-designed handkerchiefs, gloves and socks).
Also: The store looks really cool. We saw it last night at the inaugural cocktail party with everyone from Lance Bass to Chase Crawford in attendance. A vintage Harley (also for sale) greets shoppers at the door, while iPads and apple computers are set up for easy digital access and stacks of GQ adorn the shelves and floors. There's also a cozy section of couches and armchairs so you can put your feet up, while your guy tries on all the store's stylish offerings (how's that for a role reversal?)
The store opens today but you better act fast, because it closes up shop on December 18th, which means you only have ten days to get all your male gifting in. Head to 414 West 14th Street (Between 9th Ave. and Washington St.) to get started.
