Guess stripping down for Playboy really was worth it, because thanks to the risque shoot, Lindsay Lohan has nabbed the, um, covetable role as the face of Jag Jeans.
Apparently photographer Yu Tsai was so impressed with Lohan when he shot her for the famous girlie mag that he cast her in this ad campaign, which he also lensed, E! Online is reporting.
Set in a slightly disheveled hotel room, a strange mirrored nightclub, and with a wardrobe closer to her own personal style, the campaign looks like a page right out of Lohan's real life. Or former life as a rehab-bound partier, anyway.
Perhaps the campaign seemed true to life because Lohan had a hand in styling and setting up the shoot. "Lindsay was so involved with the shoot that she would go as far as adjusting items on the set," a press release for the campaign stated. "She even requested scissors so she could personally fray the edges of her black crepe blouse because she believed it would look better that way. Lindsay would take a hands-on approach to her shots, as she was more than willing to change her hairstyle during mid-shoot and even used her own personal jewelry and accessories when needed." Hmm...Could this be the beginning of a burgeoning career as a stylist?
Jokes aside, even though we've never heard of Jag Jeans, this is still a positive development for Lohan's career. She seems to be working well with the brand, and the photographer said in the release, "Lindsay did not disappoint." Considering she also walked away from shooting the Philipp Plein campaign with a glowing report of her conduct, this could mean more work is to come for Lohan.
Maybe she really is getting her shit together, after all.
