In case you haven’t heard (or seen), Karlie Kloss landed the December cover of Vogue Italia and is also the subject of a very, very revealing Steven Meisel-shot editorial inside, which we posted yesterday.

Today, one of the photos has been taken down from Vogue Italia’s site, Fashion Copious noticed. Read more »

Yay. What a lovely Friday treat. Sure Caroline Trentini looks completely miz on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Brazil’s December issue but who cares because there’s a cute cat! Maybe she’s allergic? The fluffster features in the editorial as well. Check it out. Also included, for no particular reason other than that they are awesome, more cat-covered fashion mags. Enjoy.

Versace for H&M is making its way back into stores. The H&M on 86th St. has “more than a small bin of returns,” according to Madison Avenue Spy. So what’s hanging on the “returns” racks (yes, there’s actually a section at this store devoted to returns)? Pink mini skirts with the fringe, shoes, bags, some sequined dresses and “the pièce de résistance…a men’s overcoat with a leather lapel and leather sleeves.”

Guess that’s what happens when people are whipped into a frenzy, wait 22 hours to shop for a limited edition designer collaboration and then get home and realize, ‘WTF did I just buy?’ Either that or it’s not selling on eBay.

Yesterday the Simpson sisters–Ashlee and Jessica–threw a little soiree to celebrate their first-ever design collab: A line of clothes for tween girls. The line is for ages 7-16, and this demographic made up most of the crowd at the party at Dylan’s Candy Bar.

I was very jealous of these girls for two reasons: First, they got to decorate and bedazzle jeans and shoes. Second, they got to eat all the candy and mini grilled cheese sandwiches they wanted, while I just stared longingly–wrong week to start a juice cleanse.

Ashlee was there with her adorable son, the curly-haired towhead Bronx; Jessica worked the crowd signing autographs and taking pictures with mini-fans while attentive babydaddy Eric Johnson stayed close by. We waited very patiently to grab a few words with the mom-to-be, who was wearing towering heels and a short leopard print dress.( We overheard her telling several people that flats hurt her feet and she’ll wear her heels as long as possible.) When we finally got to her, she dished to us about working with Ashlee, her new design projects, and finding out the sex of her baby:

With Cyber Monday sales at an all-time high, and e-tailers like Amazon making a killing, Google is looking to get in on the action. The web search giant is said to be in talks with major retailers and shipping services to create their very own shopping platform, WWD is reporting. The new online shopping destination would allow customers to browse and buy products across a variety of storefronts–a one-stop-shop, similar to Amazon, but faster. According to the Wall Street Journal, who broke the story, the site will offer same day delivery at low price.

Ever since she released “All I Want For Christmas (is You)” in 1994, which I still believe to be the best Christmas song of all time, Mariah Carey has donned her fair share of sexy Christmas outfits, or ensembles, as she would say. Today, the video came out for a new “Superfestive!” version of the iconic holiday song, which also features a plaid-clad Justin Bieber.

Although we typically believe in not fixing things that aren’t broken, any opportunity to hear that catchy chorus is a welcome one and this could have turned out a lot worse than it did. As NY mag points out, the song is bad-proof.

In the video, which was shot entirely at Macy’s Herald Square (product placement!), Mariah wears one of her most revealing santa ensembles yet and maybe the cutest? See below for the video and click through to see her many sexy Christmas outfits from album covers, videos and performances over the years and you be the judge.

Last night I stopped by Manolo Blahnik‘s 54th Street boutique where the shoe designer was on hand with author Camilla Morton to sign copies of their new book, Manolo Blahnik and the Tale of the Elves & the Shoemaker (Morton wrote it, Blahnik did the illustrations). I only had four minutes to talk to the man whose creations threatened to send Sex and the City‘s Carrie Bradshaw into debt, as the crowd of extremely posh Blahnik-shod women waiting to have the master sign their shoes and books was growing larger by the second.

It makes sense that Morton chose to create a fairy tale of Blahnik’s life since it seems to have played out that way. “Everything in my life is an accident,” he says, downplaying his talent and intense work ethic that has led to his 39-years long successful career. And as the protagonist of a fairy tale, Blahnik–whimsical, witty and utterly charming–fits the bill.

Here’s how my four minutes with Manolo Blahnik played out.

Images of the full Girl with the Dragon Tattoo for H&M collection have been released, just in time for you to scope out your favorite pieces and plan your attack for when the collection hits stores on December 14.

Designed by Trish Summerville, the costume designer for the upcoming movie, the 30-piece collection consists of mostly leather pants, ripped tees and punky accessories. There are also a handful of cool pieces we didn’t get a chance to notice before, like the spiky earrings we could so see the real Lisbeth wearing or the worn-in-looking tank and belt inscribed with the Swedish proverb, “What Is Hidden In Snow Comes Forth In The Thaw.”
