Street Style: Gigi Guerra Is on a Siberia Kick

Name: Gigi Guerra Occupation: Marketing Director at Madewell How would you describe your style? A bit of a mish-mash—nothing really matches. What are you currently obsessed with? Dead-of-winter-Russia Dr. Zhivago style: tweedy wool capes, headscarves, prim dresses, tons of layers, giant furry hats. I'm on a Siberia kick. Maybe I'm just missing the snow this year. What's your motto? Take risks. And try a print or two.

How would you describe your style? A bit of a mish-mash—nothing really matches.

What are you currently obsessed with? Dead-of-winter-Russia Dr. Zhivago style: tweedy wool capes, headscarves, prim dresses, tons of layers, giant furry hats. I'm on a Siberia kick. Maybe I'm just missing the snow this year.

What is currently on your iPod? I'm into country holiday music, like Alan Jackson's Let it Be Christmas and Taylor Swift's cover of Wham's Last Christmas. On the non-Christmas front, Atlas Sound, Destroyer, old Lush and Slowdive, Cults, Catpower, Girls, Lana del Rey, and Youth Lagoon are in heavy rotation. And I just got the 1970s Ken Russell movie Lisztomania -- it's a gloriously campy take on the rock-star life of 19th-Century pianist/composer Franz Liszt. Women used to flock to his performances, faint when he played, and rip his handkerchiefs to threads—he was the Elvis of his era. I can't wait to watch it!

What's on your holiday wish list this year? Well, in an ideal world I'd love to adopt an Irish wolfhound. They're pretty much the largest dogs out there, and so friendly too (my grandmother had one) - they're gentle giants. I'd also take an ongoing supply of Siggi's yogurt, chess lessons at NYC's Marshall Chess Club, and this awesome blue polka-dot Madewell sweater.

What are you wearing? Hansel from Basel bag, United Arrows coat, White and Warren scarf, J.Crew shoes.
