Find Out How SmoothGroove, a New Product That Gets Rid of Camel Toe, Came to Be

Were you thinking to yourself, gee, I really need some sort of female jockstrap-type device to protect myself from the camel toe? No? Well no matter, because entrepreneur Susan Laurie is making it her personal mission to rid women everywhere of this dreaded wardrobe malfunction with her (ingenious? crazy?) new product, SmoothGroove. According to SmoothGroove's website, "a staggering 55% of women, irrespective of age, size or weight, experience camel toe at some point." We're not exactly sure where they came up with this statistic but we'll concede camel toe is certainly not rare. Indeed Susan says it was out of "personal embarrassment" of having suffered from this "problem" that prompted her to create SmoothGroove. "My favorite white trousers [gave me camel toe.] It looked bad!" she wrote to us in an email.

Indeed Laure says it was out of "personal embarrassment" of having suffered from this "problem" that prompted her to create SmoothGroove. "My favorite white trousers [gave me camel toe]" Laure told us. "It looked bad!"

Here's how it works: SmoothGroove is "made from a medical grade polymer which moulds itself to the contours of the body," and is shaped sort of like a menstrual pad. You wear the SmoothGroove against bare skin, underneath your underwear or even alone with leggings/workout pants. And presto! No more camel toe (as the super-explicit before and after shows).

We have to hand it to Laurie for taking an embarassing female wardrobe malfunction and turning it into something...well, at least a little, less embarrassing. Though if you're suffering from camel toe often enough to necessitate buying the SmoothGroove, maybe it's time to invest in a pair of looser pants. Just saying.

Would you try the SmoothGroove out?
