Kate Middleton is turning the big three-oh next Monday and if you were planning on getting her a bunch of dresses, you might want to rethink that, since fellow Brit Victoria Beckham reportedly has that covered. According to Showbizspy, whose credibility is, we admit, somewhat questionable, celeb designer Victoria Beckham plans to gift her royal pal an assortment of dresses and accessories.

And not just any old pieces from her ready-to-wear line. A “source close to the Beckhams” says it’s a “special collection of dresses and accessories” that will be “exclusive to Kate,” whose style was the inspiration for the gift.

It’s been widely reported that Kate Middleton does not accept free clothes and while there have been several rumors over the past year that Beckham sends her clothes, Middleton has oddly never worn Victoria Beckham publicly, or at least not that we’re aware of. Of course, it’s possible she makes exceptions to her free clothes rule for birthday gifts from friends. Perhaps David Beckham will send over some H&M underwear for William as well.
