Whitney Port to Stage Her First-Ever Runway Show for Whitney Eve At New York Fashion Week

Not many have made the successful transition from reality TV star to legitimate designer--but former Hills star Whitney Port is certainly trying. Port launched her own line Whitney Eve in 2008, and after four years of presentations and look books, the designer is finally taking her collection to the tents. She'll show her Fall 2012 collection--her first-ever runway show--at 9am on February 15 in The Studio at Lincoln Center. Not half bad for a 26-year-old with little (or no?) actual design training.

“My collection has grown so much over the past few years, and the next step for me as a designer was to put on my own runway show," Port said in a press release. "I am so excited to show on schedule as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, and can’t wait to show my new Fall collection on the runway."

Are you happy Whitney is showing at NYFW?
