This is me and Linda Gerard, the hostess of the restaurant at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, where I was shooting Kate Spade’s summer video campaign. You can’t quite see it in the photo, but she is wearing a necktie over her sweater. Linda was Barbra Streisand’s understudy in Funny Girl and a former Provincetown bar owner, who currently hosts Sissy Bingo at the Ace. She’s a lesbian and has gay twins! Apparently they are making a documentary about her right now, so she was asking me what it’s like to be on reality TV…
