Calla
Designer Calla Haynes is a graduate from Parsons School of Design, hails from Toronto and for the past several years has lived in Paris, where she typically shows–though, she’s also shown during Toronto Fashion Week. She’s also done a lot of other things in her short but varied design career, including print work for various designers and stints at Rochas and Nina Ricci under Theyskens. This season, she’ll show her two-year old collection in New York. She designs delicate, print-heavy pretty things that we want to wear and has a lot of potential to grow. She also recently snagged a denim collaboration with April77, so it seems that growth is already starting to happen.
