Haus Alkire
Haus Alkire is a brand new designer line that Julie Haus, who already has her own contemporary label, launched with her husband Jason Alkire, with whom she has been collaborating for a while on prints. For Haus Alkire, the fabrics are more luxe and the prints often hand-painted. They recently won the 2012 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation, and with it a $25,000 grant, which has helped them stage a fashion week presentation at Lincoln Center next Tuesday.
