Rihanna Expected to Hit London Fashion Week Shows

Today marks the last day of New York fashion week, with London gearing up to start shows tomorrow. While New York fashion week didn't exactly bring out the a-list glamorous celebs (well, unless you count George Lucas and Matt Damon), it's looking like at least one diva is going to make an appearance at some London catwalk shows. And no, we're not talking about Kanye West. Rihanna is scheduled to perform next week at the BRIT Awards, which are the UK equivalent of the Grammys. Elle UK is reporting that the singer is expected to hit a few front rows during her time in London.

You'll recall that Rihanna is executive producing a new fashion reality TV show in the UK, which involves designers competing to design stage outfits for various celebs and performers. Elle UK reports that House of Holland (a stage-worthy label if we ever saw one) has signed on to do the show. Rihanna has worn HOH a number of times, and she's expected to grace the front row of that show at the bare minimum.

Elle speculates that based on past sartorial choices she may show up at Stella McCartney's one-off presentation, and possibly Burberry and Mulberry (known for their dazzling front rows). She also once had a meal with Topshop's Sir Philip Green, so perhaps Unique's show, too. And maybe a clothing line with the retailer? (We kid!) Anyway, we always look forward to the clothes at London fashion week more than anything else, but this is an added extra perk.
