Founded in 2003, Superdry has proved it’s distinctive clothing range can last the distance. Now with stores in Covent Garden as well as many concession stores throughout the UK, it is rapidly expanding in the U.S. and they’re hiring a Planner. The Planner promotes and protects the brand by assisting in driving strategic planning of the business direction including in-season weekly, monthly and seasonal analysis along with creating future financial plans to buy to at the category level. Required to work with the cross functional team to ensure preseason strategies match up with in-season strategies to accomplish financial targets.

The Planner promotes and protects the brand by assisting in driving strategic planning of the business direction including in-season weekly, monthly and seasonal analysis along with creating future financial plans to buy to at the category level. Required to work with the cross functional team to ensure preseason strategies match up with in-season strategies to accomplish financial targets.

Qualifications: the following list summarizes the qualifications of the planner position *education - bachelor's degree or equivalent merchandise planning experience required *merchandise planning experience - 2 to 4 years of merchandise planning with intense analysis experience required

Availability: *full time - required to work a full 40-hour workweek: Monday through Friday 9-6 with extended hours when necessary.

Tasks: *retail planning - develops financial plans that deliver corporate objectives and product strategies, utilizing historical performance, current trend analysis, market research and cross-functional feedback. *allocations - works cross-functionally with allocations team to create unit inventory targets to support sales and optimize turn. partners with allocations team to develop a comprehensive allocation and replenishment strategy to accomplish retail sales plan. *statistical analysis - reports weekly on all financial measurements which include: sales, gross margin, weeks on hand (WOH), weeks of supply (WOS), and offers strategies to Superdry management on ways to impact them. possesses expert command of retail math concepts and applications. has expert knowledge of excel functions and formulas: expert command of v lookups, sumif statements, custom sorting and if statements.
