If you weren’t able to get your hands on the now sold-out Orla Kiely coatdress Kate Middleton wore on a recent visit to an Oxford elementary school, don’t worry! You can still have a little bit of that signature Orla look, at a price that won’t put a dent in your wallet. The Irish designer, famous for her prints, has teamed up with Uniqlo for a cute capsule collection of perfect springtime staples.
Kiely’s range for the Japanese retailer includes scarves ($12.90), printed dresses, long-sleeved button downs, ($39.90) t-shirts, and tanks ($19.90). Naturally, you will find a few pieces printed with Kiely’s famed leaf pattern, but there are also some cute tops boasting sliced pears, tiny cars, and budding florals.
And in other exciting Uniqlo news: Tavi Gevinson and Cyndi Lauper looked absolutely darling wearing tops from the collab in the print ads and new commercial for Uniqlo’s new colored denim collection, which you can watch below! We’re pretty sure this range will feel the KMidd effect and sell out in a flash, now that the Duchess has been spotted in one of Kiely’s designs. And the new denim collection might too, because this commercial is really good.
Click through to see the full Orla Kiely x Uniqlo collection, and check out the nostalgic and endearing commercial starring Tavi, Cyndi Lauper, Vena Cava’s Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock (whom we haven’t heard from in a while); Alek Wek, and others. Then prepare to spend your life savings at the nearest Uniqlo. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
